The transparency and efficiency of the work of the People's Assembly of Gagauzia through the prism of civic monitoring

The present report represents a synthetic exposition of the efforts to monitor the activity of the People's Assembly of Gagauzia (APG) through the lens of the transparency of the decision-making process and the estimation of the efficiency of the legislative procedures.

This exercise is a natural continuation of the previous efforts of the Association "ADEPT" (Association for Participatory Democracy "ADEPT"), undertaken over several years of reflecting the electoral process in Gagauzia. In this sense, all seven electoral ballots for the election of the People's Assembly of Gagauzia were monitored and presented, as well as the elections of the Governor (Bașcanu), being updated information about the entire electoral process with the support of the OSCE Mission to the Republic of Moldova (OSCE - Security Organization and Cooperation in Europe).
