Workshop with the generic: "Decisional transparency and access to information of public interest in the context of trends for an open government at the local level"
Today, December 8, the ADEPT Association is organizing a workshop in the municipality of Balti with the theme: "Decisional transparency and access to information of public interest in the context of trends for open governance at the local level".
Representatives of town halls and public institutions responsible for providing public utility services from Bălți, Rîșcani, Dondușeni, Florești and Drochia participate in the event.
The agenda of the workshop contains two topics:
- Presentation of the performance of public utility services in urban localities, cities and municipalities, the seat of the district, facilitated by Inna Vrînceanu, expert in good governance, ADEPT.
- The national action plan for open government for the years 2023-2025: Opportunities for local public authorities, session coordinated by Natalia Postica, deputy head, Directorate of human rights and cooperation with civil society, State Chancellery.
Participants will also carry out a practical exercise on the importance of open government, transparency and access to information. In this workshop, we talk about the quality of public utility services, the accessibility of data about the services provided, as well as recommendations and discussions in the context of ensuring open governance at the local level.
This event is organized by the ADEPT Association in partnership with the State Chancellery within the project "Improving transparency and accountability in the provision of public services at the local level", implemented with the support of the Open Government Partnership through the EU Integrity Program for the Eastern Partnership, funded by European union.
