ADEPT: Clearer Rules for Political Competition and Public Funding

On 13 July 2026, during the public dialogue "Adjusting the Legislation on Political Parties in the Republic of Moldova," the Association for Participatory Democracy ADEPT presented a package of proposals aimed at improving the legislation governing political parties, electoral legislation, and the related legal framework. The proposals were developed on the basis of the recommendations of the Venice Commission and the conclusions of the 2026 Electoral Forum.

16th Edition of the School of Young Political Leaders Comes to a Close

More than 30 young people from different political parties, as well as politically unaffiliated participants, have graduated from the 16th edition of the School of Young Political Leaders, a program organized by the Association for Participatory Democracy ADEPT. Over the course of nine months, participants took part in training sessions, debates, and meetings with experts, political leaders, representatives of public institutions, and members of academia, within a space dedicated to dialogue and the development of a new generation of leaders.

Dialogue on the Future of Regional Elections in Gagauzia

The Association for Participatory Democracy ADEPT brought together, in Avdarma, mayors and local councilors from the Autonomous Territorial Unit (ATU) of Gagauzia, Members of Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, experts, and civil society representatives for a public dialogue on regional elections and proposals to align the electoral legislation with the Constitutional Court's ruling of July 2026.

On 22 August 2026, the Association for Participatory Democracy (ADEPT) held a public event in the centre of Comrat municipality, "Городок честных выборов" – "The Town of Fair Elections", dedicated to informing citizens about electoral integrity, the prevention of electoral corruption and the importance of a free, secret and informed vote.
